Solo Report
Our first event will be July 24 at Stoneridge Fellowship
Will be preregistration only, can have 50 people on site so we will have 40 entries.
People will need to wear a mask at the drivers meeting and social distance.
Scott hopes to have preregistration open this week.
Scott spoke to Brian about holding the HPDS on the September long weekend, instructors will not be available that weekend. We decided to cancel the HPDS for this year as there are no other dates available to hold it. Scott will start to refund people this week.
We will try to hold our Digby Double Regional event on the September long weekend. Events will be September 4 & 5 with a test and tune on Friday the 3rd. Debbie is going to contact the Digby airport to confirm if we can have this date.
Van has insurance on it now, Joel going to get the Van out of storage this week sometime.
Race Report
The schedules and Passes for Sponsors, Media and Officials have come in. This should make them easily recognizable in the paddock. The new signage will be up as well.
This weekend is the first race weekend. There is a Race School Saturday, should have 10 students. There will be Race Car Practice after the School.
Race day is Sunday, should be in the Mid 20’s for car numbers hopefully. There will be a food truck onsite.
Looking for Marshalls for the weekend.
There is no Spectators allowed at this event.
Rally Report
Pidge is looking for a date for his Rally.
The proposed calendar for Performance Rally is
August 8 – Test and Tune
September 11 & 12 – Trout Lake Rally
October 17 – Lookoff Rally Sprint.
ASCC has been contacted by the organizers of the New Scotland Road Rally, to see if we would have any interest in being the organizing club for that event. It will be a 3-day, 1500 km, all paved road event that will use electronic scoring. They are hoping to hold it June 17-19 2022, however that date cannot be confirmed until the calendar meeting at the AGM. They need a date to be able to organize the event. There is interest from Texas, Florida, Connecticut and Ontario.
