Weekend at the track with ASCC (Lapping sessions)

Entry fees:  Aug 17th Lapping – $160, 2 day deal AMP AutoSlalom Aug 16th and Lapping Aug 17th – $190 (Autoslalom Supp Regs)

Registration: In order to register you must be a member of an ARMS club and hold a current ARMS lapping, Time attack, or race license. To speed up the days events if possible please send the solosport entry form with your registration. Tech forms will be collected the day of the event at tech inspection.

To register email hpds@ascc.ca with your club membership number, lapping license number, name, contact number, vehicle you plan to attend with, and amount of track experience.

Insurance: Digital waiver to be signed by all persons on-site, this includes drivers, passengers, and spectators. There is no exception to this rule, if you have trouble getting the speed waiver completed ask us and we will assist you. The ASCC speed waiver only needs to be completed once per year. https://ascc.speedwaiver.com/   (Note: the ASCC waiver is different from the ARMS waiver)

0700: Gate Open

0730: Driver registration open – Proceed to the tech building.

0915: drivers meeting – This is a must attend, no drivers will be allowed on the track without a brief. If you will be arriving after the meeting contact an official for a briefing upon arrival. Run groups will be designated at the meeting and posted on the notice board.

0930: Marshalls brief

0945: Marshalls to stands

1000: Track hot

1000-1025: Run group A

1030-1055: Run group B.

1100-1125: Run group A

1130-1155: Run group B

1200-1255 lunch

100: Track hot

100-125: Run group A

130-155: Run group B

200-225: Run group A

230-255: Run group B

300-325: Run group A

330-355: Run group B

400: End of day

Site Rules

1) Consumption of alcoholic beverages or cannabis by any participant before the end of any day’s activities at an event is forbidden.

2) No speeding or reckless driving anywhere on or near the property.

3) Do not leave ANY garbage on site. There are lots of garbage cans available, there are no excuses for leaving garbage anywhere.

4) When the track is hot do not cross or enter pit lane unless you are assisting a driver as crew or passenger.

5) Under no circumstances shall anyone other than officials, marshals, or tow enter the track when operational.

6) Passing is point by only on the front and back straights marked by cones. The vehicle being passed must stay to the right and indicate by pointing that they see the overtaking vehicle, upon seeing the point by the overtaking vehicle may initiate the pass within the designated passing zone. The vehicle being passed should maintain speed or gently ease off the throttle(situation dependant) to allow the other vehicle by, then safely resume their lap.

7) Pitlane speed is max 40km/h, paddock speed is max 15km/h

8) When entering the track from pitlane marshals will do their best to release cars when there is no traffic. It is the driver’s responsibility to enter the track quickly and efficiently and remain to the left of the track until through turn 1. Any vehicles already on track be aware that cars may be entering the track from pit lane throughout the session.

9) At driver registration and tech, tech forms will be collected, and cars will get a visual check by the scrutineer or designate for safety and leaks. Driver refusal to have their car checked will result in them being denied participation in the event. It is the driver’s responsibility to ensure the vehicle being used on track is in good mechanical condition with no leaks. Drivers attending both events may tech their cars the night before with officials.

General Information

There will be a 1-hour lunchbreak at 1200. There are not many close places for food, please plan accordingly.

When entering the site, competitors may park anywhere on the sides of the paved paddock area. Spectators, please park on the grassy areas off to the side or before the paddock to allow competitors space on the pavement.

The hospitality building (bathrooms and showers) will be open all weekend.

Camping is available Saturday night at no cost for anyone spectating or participating in the event.
