  1. I am interested in photographing the ASCC Autoslalom #2 on June 8th. In the past I have photographed my sons races with Virginia Motor Sports Club in Richmond, VA and found it quite enjoyable. I also shot at Summit Point Raceway in West Virginia during SCCA events.
I am a member of the Camera Club of Richmond (VA), the Truro Image Makers Photo Club NS) and the International Freelance Photographers Organization (IFPO). Is there someone I should speak to at the event or are there areas available for photography.
A sample of my work is at https://picasaweb.google.com/jgschickler/Autocross?authkey=Gv1sRgCKqc4Kmo7df_iwE&feat=directlink
    Thank you.

    1. Hi John,

You’re more than welcome to attend and photograph any of our events. We have a number of photographers in our club, myself included. All you need to do for Slalom and other events that aren’t taking place at Atlantic Motorsport Park is make yourself known to the organizers and sign an insurance waiver. For events at Atlantic Motorsport Park there may be a gate fee depending on the event (Usually $10) as well. If you’d like to drop by the one of the Atlantic Sports Car Club general meetings they’re held the second Tuesday of every month at 7:30 at the Riverside Pub in Bedford. We’d be happy to answer any further questions you might have about events or shooting them!
