The fifth and final Regional Rally took place as planned last Saturday afternoon and evening with 11 cars competing. There were three Experienced Class crews and eight entered in Novice Class. Weather for the event, if less than ideal, was not a problem and did actually have a couple of advantages: the light rain eliminated dust without causing mud or water problems, and the cloud cover prevented any possible troubles 'driving into the sun'. Ten of the cars completed the rally successfully, and the eleventh car at least got as far as checkpoint #9 (out of 15).

Thanks to all who participated and helped out! I can't list all the checkpointers, but I can say they were all where they were supposed to be when they were supposed to be! So, job well done to all!

I'd like to offer a special thanks to ASCC and MMSC - and particularly Bill Anwyll and Darrell Tower - for what I expect is the first joint venture to sponsor and organize a regional rally!
